Reporting To - Manager Sales
Basic Purpose of the Role
The basic purpose of this role is to ensure sales of international SIM and data cards by assisting the Sales Management and guiding the BDEs in their functioning.
Team Handling experience is must.
Financial Perspective
Assist in Sales Target Setting
- Assist and support the sales managers in setting the overall sales targets
Achieve the Decided Individual Sales Targets
- Meet the sales target decided by the division
Assist the Team in Meeting the Sales Targets
- Ensure that the BDEs and Sr.BDEs receive adequate support in meeting sales targets
Customer Perspective
Ensure Customer Acquisition and Retention
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationship
- Providing the customer with after sales service through appropriate interaction
Track Products and Services Offered by Competition
- Provide the sales management with sales and channel information of competition to aid planning
Design & Implement Sales Research Studies to Improve and Aid Planning
- Define specifications for Sales data systems (Channel profiling, tracking & evaluation systems)
Develop Actionable Recommendations to Increase Market Share
- Proactively analyze results obtained from sales planning and MIS teams as well as market research and develop recommendations
Internal Process Perspective
Ensure Action on the Tele Sales Leads
- Co-ordinate with the tele-sales team in Allahabad with respect to leads
- Disseminate lead information to teams
- Provide regular and timely feedback on the same
Ensure Marketing Information Dissemination to the Teams at all Branches
- Ensure timely visit to all branches
- Disseminate information regarding tie ups with companies like VFS
- Generate marketing data from the branches and provide feedback to the marketing department about publicity collateral
- Share the leads generated from the marketing team with the rest of team on a regular basis
Provide Assistance in the Marketing Activities in Own Domain
- Provide recommendations of marketing activities (like setting up of stalls during an event) in specific areas under his/her domain
Manage and Assist the Student Consultants
- Ensure contacts and conversions with student consultants (especially in the months of July, August & January)
Learning & Development Perspective
Enhance and Improve Product Knowledge
- Acquire complete/in-depth product knowledge of all products and services
Develop Knowledge of Competitor Products and be Aware of Offerings
- Stay up to date with competitive offerings
Act as the People Manager for the Assigned BDEs and Sr.BDEs
- Monitor the performance of BDEs and Senior BDEs month on month and assist them in their training and career development
Assist the Sales team in Enhancing Capability
- Guide and assist the BDEs on product information, leads, and sales process
Conceptualize and develop brief for automation of tools for recording, monitoring and managing sales performance
- Constantly renew internal processes to move towards best practices in the area
KRAs
- Consistency in achieving the sales targets month on month
- Revenue generated out of the total target achieved monthly/quarterly/yearly.
- Actual conversions achieved out the prospective targets approached.
