Department Overview:
One-stop solution for all wedding requirements, Wedding Bazaar is India's first and largest marketplace with over 200,000 wedding service providers across various categories. The customer will find everything he/she needs to plan a perfect wedding, right from Caterers, Decorators, Bridal Make-up, Photography, Apparel, Jewellery, and Honeymoon Package etc., A full outright acquisition of Shadisaaga by Matrimony.com, has given an impetus to its presence in North and West and technological prowess in the wedding space arena making it the largest wedding services marketplace.
Role Overview:
The Candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth for our Wedding Services business (across WeddingBazaar.com and Mandap.com) and lead from the front in execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute sales strategies across the country to increase paid listings across both WeddingBazaar.com and Mandap.com (and across all categories of vendors on WeddingBazaar.com) on a month-on-month and quarter-on-quarter basis consistently
- Design and execute conversion strategies to drive continuous monetization of our customer base, by selling them our paid subscription packages
- Design and execute pricing strategies to improve the ARPU across our paid customer base
- Design and execute effective account-mining strategies to grow business from the active paid customer base
- Drive continuous improvement in customer-relationship management, customer satisfaction rates and drive increase in paid customer renewals
- Build a world-class sales organisation by hiring, training, and developing a team of passionate sales, telesales, and post sales teams across all parts of the country and enable them to achieve sales closures
- Champion a high-performance sales culture across the organization
- Develop proposals for new business avenues, new plans, services, technology upgradation, longer term strategic tie-ups with vendors
- Collaborate closely with the Product and Marketing teams in driving business growth
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and challenges.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to the management.
Skill and Competencies
- A seasoned leader, who has expertise in sales and experience in developing new projects, managing large P&L portfolio for at least 8 years.
- Experience in leading large field sales force and awareness of Pan India market
- Experience in Creating, developing, enhancing, and executing a comprehensive sales strategy.
- Proven Sales Leader with a clear focus on customer satisfaction, excellent communication & problem-solving skills, data-based decision making and the ability to work in a start-up environment.
Candidate Specifications:
- MBA preferably from one of the premium institutes.
- Candidates should have experience of 12-15 years in managing large sales teams in B2B domains.
