Role : Supply Chain Manager

Function : Tambulya Market Place
Brief Description about the role :
The person will be responsible to deliver best in class experience for customers from order placement to delivery for all sales on Tambulya Online Market place.
This will include end to end supply chain optimization (network design, transportation optimization, inventory optimization etc.). He has to oversee inbound and outbound logistics of all Distribution Centres (DC), optimize costs and ensure on time delivery to customers in India and abroad.
A major part of his responsibility will be to negotiate with domestic and international logistics/courier partners, warehouse space for DCs and set a robust process for shipment tracking etc. He/she will be responsible for ensuring that all orders are agglomerated, repacked properly, processed, dispatched and delivered at pre-agreed costs and timelines.
Educational Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree with an MBA, with a total experience of a minimum of 6-10 years, including 3-4 years in supply chain and logistics, order processing, order management and procurement in e-commerce, FMCG or retail background.
Skill Sets :
- Strong Vendor negotiation and Vendor management skills.
- Advanced Excel skills, advanced proficiency with MS-Access and MS PowerPoint
- Strong financial and analytical skills with
- Coaching & mentoring skills for staff at Distribution Centers.
- Conflict resolution.
- Reporting & Decision making skills.
- Strong communication skills, with Proficiency in Hindi and English; Being multilingual will be an added advantage

Key Deliverable :
- Develop and implement plans for fulfillment and delivery performance that satisfy consumer expectations, marketing requirements and financial targets while optimizing cost and speed.
- Support the team with analysis on key elements of SCM including Demand, Capacity Utilization and Costs (e.g. analysis of customer types and demand geographies, warehouse utilization and operational efficiency, activity based costing etc.)
- Lead and implement a business plan for the department that delivers all KPIs enabling growth and customer satisfaction whilst remaining efficient & controlling costs
- Focus on results and drive objectives to deliver business goals
- Hire, lead, manage and coach team of DC staff to build a culture of continuous improvement throughout the team
- Maximize demand planning processes to minimize stock holding and maximize availability.
- Manage the day to day and strategic performance of third party logistics providers.
- Deliver exceptional service levels through supplier engagement and service level reviews
- Coordinate activities and work flow with Business Head, Procurement team and Customer Service teams to ensure p and the Re sellers/Suppliers to meet agreed service levels.
- Monitor Daily and investigate to ensure that all processed Sales Orders are fulfilled on time by the customer service team to meet the SLA.
