Manager- Materials (BE/ B.Tech + MBA/ PGDM- Premier B School- batches of 2010- 11)

An Opportunity for Manager- Materials for Maharashtra Region.

Require:

BE/ B Tech + MBA/ PGDM (Operations/Supply chain) from Premier B- School- (batches of 2010- 2011).

KRAs:

- Responsible for managing Raw Materials, Packing Materials and Finished Goods of entire plant.

- To manage & control Packing Materials and Finished Goods and to ensure compliance to maintenance schedule for maximum uptime.

- Handle procurement of High Speed Diesel, local RMs like Liquor Ammonia and departmental Capital / Revenue Expenditures.

- Ensure timely unloading, approval and charging of Raw Materials and Packing Materials as per Production Plan to prevent stock-outs.

- Key interfaces would be Central Planning, Purchase, Distribution team for inventory management and resolution of routine issues.

- Responsible for leading Team Members, Officers, Executive and Contract Manpower.

- Undertaking vendor management for new equipments to be used in the plant.

- To manage the wide spectrum of tasks including procurement, inventory control, vendor development, logistics, dispatch etc. across the supply chain.

- To focus on minimizing cost by taking reduction initiatives like zero detention of trucks, minimal in-transit damages, efficiency improvement of contract manpower, etc.

- Monitor and control (FLL) and ensure the hygiene of RM / PM / FG accounting.

- To take improvement projects / initiatives like TPM, reduction of downtime of critical equipments, reduction of turnaround time, etc.

- Liasioning with Transporters, Vendors, Contractors, Depots, etc. for resolution of pain areas and addressing their concerns, if any.
