Material Supply Planner - Leading FMCG


- We have a suitable opening in the Operations Division for the role Material Supply Planner, based in Pune Plant.


- You come with a relevant experience of 5 to 10 years with an FMCG in a similar role or any role in Supply chain Planning or Procurement.


- In this role, you will manage the supply of materials (RM and / or PM) according to the production plan schedules, challenge supply parameters, and control inventory levels. Develop the supplier relationship in a collaborative and partnership approach in an international environment.

Job Responsibilities :

- Analyze PM/RM requirements based on MRP (Material Requirement Planning) results

- Implement methods of supply, stock policy and update logistics requirements

- Material Supply Planner sends a monthly supply schedule to the supplier that, forecasts the demand on a 12 rolling months horizon He also has to send a weekly supply schedule to update the demand on 9 rolling weeks horizon

- Anticipate any availability issue regarding components/raw materials and inform key actors (logistics and production). Make recommendations to minimize impacts and to avoid crisis situation.

- Define and update master data at least yearly. Align and optimize Supply Chain parameters with the suppliers, in collaboration with Sourcing Center, according to the life cycle of the products from launch to end of life.

- Build and validate Bills of materials with the Launch Manager.

- Review and implement the most suitable and agile supply methods according to the business needs.

- Define the strategy and analyze and optimize material inventories including E&Os.

- Ensure the securitization of the components: analyze the risk on one's portfolio using the Group decision-making tools and activate the appropriate escalation process if necessary.

- Drive supplier agility improvement in partnership with Sourcing Center, DGO and Division/Zone.

- Implement SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) and continuous improvement actions.

- Monitor supplier performance (Scorecard), define and follow up action plans.

- Strengthen digital synchronization with our Suppliers.

- The Supply Planner ensures that the supplier knows and understands the procedures described in the Supplier General Terms Document.

- For key suppliers, it is also important to implement S&OP process (medium term vision and risk assessments).
