Manager, Software Test Engineer

- Quality Engineering team within MasterCard is about creating an ecosystem to build a world beyond waiting for all delivery teams to help achieve time-to-market, quality excellence, and higher customer satisfaction within all verticals including core, emerging payments, and value-added services.

- Unlike similar quality/testing roles in other organizations, Quality Engineering position at MasterCard requires firm knowledge and hands on software development skills on par with software developer to work closely with developers to build test automation, test infrastructure, and perform code analysis/review to enable development quality.

- This position will be responsible for driving Quality Engineering best practices within MasterCard in working with teams to deliver applications and solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholders, including consumers, merchants, issuers and governments.

Role

- Play a crucial part in helping drive Quality to help build and ship better products.

- You will part of Mastercard core payments team which comprises the Authorization, Clearing and Debit teams. This is the heart of Mastercard business and the system processes billions of transactions. Specifically handle a new team which would work on Masterpass QR initiative, guiding the team to make sure the product meets quality standards for Mastercard.

- Would be responsible for automation and Continuous Integration (CI) for the team.

All About You

Must Have skills-

- Effectively communicate across all levels of a project team to drive quality practices.

- Experience using Agile Methodology

- Strong Domain expertise in Core Payments specifically around Knowledge in testing real time transactions including authorization, debit and clearing systems.

- Knowledge of ISO payment protocols (8583)

- Highly motivated who can drive the deliverables independently.

- Experience mentoring and developing resources in a high performance culture.

- Knowledge of mainframe and Unix.

- Knowledge of payment simulation tools (Paragon, FinSim, T3 or similar)

Good to Have -

- Exposure in building and using automation frameworks using technologies: Java, JUnit, JBehave.

- Experience testing across a variety of platforms: APIs (REST and SOAP)

- Ability to create good acceptance and integration test automation scripts and integrate with Continuous integration (Jenkins/Bamboo) and code coverage tools (Sonar, Clover)

- Knowledge in Digital Native Architecture

- Clear understanding of the 12 Factor App methodology
