Job Title

Java Tech Lead - Core Java, Spring Boot / Batch

Overview

- Core Payments division of MasterCard is involved in developing & supporting Authorization, Clearing solutions for MasterCard customers

- AMS & ALM within the Clearing system provides members, cardholders and merchants with account number protection and a single process for identifying and managing restricted accounts

- Develop solutions for AMS, ALM, Clearing and other Core Systems. This includes Analysis, Design, Coding, testing and Implementation

- Develop project schedule and track the deliverables

- Mentor a team of designer, developers and testers for project delivery

- Coordinate and work with interfacing applications and MasterCard vendors to ensure success of the project

- Have you worked in a full lifecycle development project and used various development methodologies including Agile and waterfall?

- Have you worked with teams across countries?

- Do you have an understanding of Payment and Cards industry?

Role

- Involve in re-engineering Core Systems from Cobol to Java

- Create Proof of concept for developing Java Applications in Mainframe

- Hands-on experience in Java Development (Core Java, Spring, JSP, various Databases, DevOps & testing tools)

- Liaise with Functional Analyst to create design documents and develop solutions

- Handle coordination between St. Louis and Vendors based in various locations

- Mentor a team of designers, developers and testers for project delivery

All About You

- Core Java, J2EE, Spring, JSP, various Databases, DevOps & testing tools experience required

- Experience in Middle-tier and Backend is desirable

- Experience in API, Wrappers desirable

- Strong Communication with good verbal and written skills

- Good Expertise in Application development
