The role is to lead and take responsibility for the technology service delivery team and is specifically responsible for:
- P&L for the Service Line
- Revenue growth for the service line
- Build Pipeline for service line growth and hold Sales and Account Directors responsible for their growth in their business area
- Service Delivery within the service line
- Provision of appropriate resources to meet the business growth requirements to meet the business plan
- Strategic direction for the business capability
- Ownership and development of the Intellectual Property and Assets associated with the service line
- Management and development of the people within the service line
- Management of APLT issues that are escalated
- Take direct responsibility for those accounts where no growth potential has been identified Supporting the Account Directors, geographic MDs and new sales community to deliver and grow their business.
The role is to run the service line like a Managing Director of a pure-play technology business.
The role is to work with Geo MDs, marketing, and sales teams to develop propositions and campaigns appropriate to the service capability and then work with Account Managers and New Business Sales Leads to secure new business growth.
The role includes the management of the service delivery staff to ensure that they have career development and continuous professional development to ensure there is a constant and appropriate supply of excellence in the service area to meet the demand of the pipeline.

The fundamental responsibilities and accountabilities of the role are to:
- Build Proposition/s for the Service Line
- Execute GTM with Geographic MDs
- Provide resources capable of delivering all existing and new projects in the service arena.
Take overall responsibility for
- the growth in the service line
- The technical sustainability of the service line
- Continuous development of the service offering to ensure market competitiveness
- Market scanning and alignment of offerings to needs
- Operate a P&L and deliver services efficiently to allow profit levels to be maximised.
- Recruitment and management of effective highly skilled staff to deliver each value proposition
- Create Sales and pre-sales support material to allow sales staff to easily sell service capability.
- Build presales capabilities for each proposition
- Engage as an industry leader in market and represent Mastek as a thought leader on the subject matter area.
