Marvel Drugs Private Ltd, established in 1986 is a leading exporter, supplier and manufacturer of API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients), advanced intermediates and bulk drugs. Over these years, the Company has established a strong reputation as a high quality, reliable and credible supplier to both in domestic as well as overseas markets. The manufacturing facility is located at Taloja, MIDC and the Head office is in Churchgate, Mumbai. The clients are spread across the countries of France, Holland, Venezuela, Belgium, Peru, and Canada.

The Person : Should be a Science graduate with at least 5 years in Pharma Sales- with exposure in Pharma and API Domestic and International sales, export requirements and GMP quality standards.

- Experience in API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) sales is a must.

- A MBA (Marketing) qualification is desirable but not essential.

The person will be reporting to the Managing Director.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the sales of MDPL bulk Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), including the existing portfolio of APIs, and product line extensions.

- Maintain and increase sales of MDPL current portfolio of API's in key markets

- Responsible for all contract negotiations for API.

- Sales and margin for existing customer product portfolio.

- Track market intelligency via trade publications, press release, etc. to identify new opportunities. Analyze new opportunity under market conditions and prepare market studies accordingly

- Establishing and maintaining relationships with potential clients. Identifying and targeting appropriate leads employing both cold calling and networking techniques

- Managing commercial inquiries: Develop API price proposals based on costs and current market conditions, gain corporate approval and present price offers to clients.

- Negotiate contracts: Lead negotiator of API contracts.

- Coordinate the regular meetings with business units to provide project updates.

- Routinely report the status of business activities, issues, and timelines to line management.

- Well versed and experienced in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.

- Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams, per product and per client.

- Formulate all key sales policies, practices and procedures.

- Establish connect and build network with the top decision makers in the clients organizations.

- Develop strong relationships and contacts in the pharmaceutical market providing an entry for expansion of product line extensions and additional opportunities in South America, Africa, Middle East, Eastern Europe, Asia region.
