The manufacturing facility is located at Taloja, MIDC and the Head office is in Churchgate, Mumbai. The clients are spread across the countries of France, Holland, Venezuela, Belgium, Peru, and Canada.
Position : Factory Manager
This position reports to the Managing Director.
Qualifications : B Tech in Chemical Engineering /Bachelor of Chemical Engineering / MSC in Chemistry, Degree in operations (Preferable)
Work Experience Requirements :
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a API plant management role with the above mentioned attributes.
- At least 2-3 years in WHO-GMP or USFDA work environment is highly preferred.
Key Role : To head 2 manufacturing units and lead all factory operations. Lead a team of 50+ people.
Key Purpose of the Role (At Organisation Level):
- Lead all factory operations.
- Responsible for providing operational leadership and tactical execution of the assigned production units.
- Directly manages the supervision and coordination of all direct production centers with all non-production support groups to meet sales forecasts, corporate goals and objectives.
- The position will also be responsible for dealing directly with the Contract Manufacturing customers on any issues related to their products. This individual is expected to drive organizational goals, build the team underneath him/her, and become an integral part of our fast growing organization.
Key Skills:
- Deep understanding of Revenue and Cost drivers for a manufacturing unit, and experience and comfort in optimizing the same.
- Proven leadership skills with great people Management & team player attitude
- Great communication skills and conflict resolution skills
- Lean Manufacturing & 5s Knowledge. Exposure of 6 Sigma Preferred.
- Technically updated on ICHQ7A guidelines, WHO GMP, Pharmacopeia and other relevant Pharma related literature.
- Past experience in facing regulatory and customer audits, with an action oriented mindset to succeed in the same.
- Knowledge of process automation & improvement.
- Knowledge of All Government regulatory and statutory, FDA, Taxes, license etc that are relevant in API manufacturing.
- Metrics and analytics driven attitude and mindset
- Strong financial, mathematical and analytical skills.
- Result oriented and proactive.
- Demonstrate ability to motivate, assess and develop employee skills.
- Familiarity with ERP implementation across factories is preffered.
