Head - Corporate Communications What can you expect? Head, Internal Communications will be responsible for designing and implementing targeted internal communications strategies to align with MMC - India GIC's strategic plans and objectives. The incumbent will be responsible for creating communication content, collaterals and managing internal channels to support all organizational plans, change management, HR initiatives and other functional priorities. The scope of work would include, but will not be limited to: - Developing and implementing internal communications strategy for the GIC - Manage all the internal communications content and medium - Be the point of contact and advice on internal communications for the organization, both in India and across the enterprise - Project management for all internal communications initiatives in organizational events We will count on you to : Strategic Orientation : 1. Design, develop and implement internal communications strategy. - Strategically plan, create, execute and measure internal communications for projects and initiatives for the enterprise, with a focus on educating, informing and engaging employees and various stakeholders - Work with the Leadership team to develop and implement an on-going agenda for India GIC basis the organizational goals and objectives. - Report back to the Leadership team and other key stakeholders at regular intervals to ensure the strategy is fit for purpose - Support all other internal initiatives and campaigns as required - Support the India Executive Management Team; counsel partners on communications strategies and programs to meet communication objectives. - Measure the effectiveness of internal communications messages and channels on an ongoing basis and make recommendations to review and amend the strategy as appropriate Delivery Management : 2. Manage internal communications content and medium - Manage and support the planning, development and implementation of strategic internal communication programs that project the desired image for India employees as a whole with a focus on the - bigger picture, developing a narrative to connect the dots across all initiatives. - Own, manage and monitor all the mediums of internal communications including formal and informal channels in order to maximize penetration of messages and their effectiveness. - Responsible for drafting, creating and managing communications content and collaterals, including writing/editing the internal newsletters and Leadership / Senior Management team messages for the wider organization. - Play a leading role in developing and implementing strategic internal tools for the organization - Work with the internal Design team to ensure the quality of collaterals is in line with the global brand guidelines - Be the point of contact and advice on internal communications for the organization, both in India and across the enterprise - Be the first point of contact for all communication enquiries, both from within India and global partners - Work with each of the functions to create their own internal communications programs and ensure consistency with the organizational goals - Proactively reach out to the Leadership and Senior Management team on communication challenges for resolutions. Crisis Communication :&nbsp; 3. Support the crisis team: - Together with the business partners, to deliver the optimum response in India in cases of crisis, to preserve our reputation as credible, responsible and honest, in line with corporate requirements. - Support in Crisis Communications training for site personnel and spokespeople Project Management : 4. Project management for all internal communications initiatives in organizational events - Work with multiple stakeholders, including different teams, vendors and management to create and deploy collaterals for all internal events Organization Perspective : 5. Set the framework for key messaging accross India and work with each business unit/functions, ensuring alignment across the board in India and enterprise - Evaluate and report to the Leadership Team on the consequences and achievements of the communications program and projects, judging where aspects require special focus by Leadership Team/ senior managers due to their strategic significance to the enterprise - Identify and extract stories and information from within the Corporation to be tailored for positive internal and external audience use. Supports the India the India Executive Management Team; counsels partners on communications strategies and programs to meet communication objectives. Others : 6. Within the company: - Collaborate with global and regional Business Leaders to identify improvement opportunities and manage communication initiatives - Participate and proactively contribute to general management activities of Communication and GIC (in India) as a member of the Senior Management Team - Outside the company: External vendors.
