We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investments team at Mercer. This role will be based in Gurgaon/Mumbai/Noida. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Director - Investments

Mercer's Investments business is a leading global provider of investment consulting and fiduciary management services. We offer customised advice and support at every stage of the investment decision, risk management and investment monitoring process.

The role requires leading the Manager Research team responsible for investment strategy and research development for Delegated Solutions business.

We will count on you to:

- You will be responsible for spearheading the business, contributing to traditional and alternative asset classes' investment due diligence process, and supporting the growth of our manager research vertical. Project management, service delivery management, real-time capacity management, peer review, process training and development of team members.

- Lead and manage end-to-end operations and ensure the seamless delivery of reports/projects.

- Liaison with stakeholders to build relationship for service delivery management.

- Play anchor role for all strategic projects and provide directions to the team. Focus on new capability development and branding imperatives. Develop reports for internal, external client presentations and senior management.

- As a leader and people manager, you will be responsible for leading, engaging and developing the colleagues. Provide guidance, support to the team, lead knowledge development initiatives and ensure adherence to compliance policy and organizational imperatives.

- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in leading the manager research vertical. Contribute to the investment decision-making and manager-selection processes by conducting manager due diligence, drafting fund commentaries and authoring research notes.

- Drive process improvement initiatives and deliver results in line with business priorities.

What you need to have:

- 12+ years experience in global markets with adequate exposure in multi-asset/alternatives.

- Proficient understanding of Research, Wealth Management, Investment Management industry and asset classes (equity, fixed income and alternatives).

- CFA Charter holder is preferred.

- BE/B Tech/MBA or master's in finance from reputed college.

- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, business communication, and time management skills.

- People management experience is required.
