Job Summary:
- As the Pre-Sales Head, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technical sales process, collaborate closely with sales teams and ensure delivery of tailored IT solutions for clients.
- You will leverage your technical expertise and leadership skills to guide the pre-sales team, develop strategies and build strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and presentation of solutions & product demonstrations to prospective clients, tailoring the presentation to meet the specific needs and pain points of each potential customer.
- Coordinate with the sales team to identify and qualify leads, ensuring a seamless transition from initial interest to active engagement in the sales process.
- Prepare and deliver responses to RFPs (Request for Proposals), RFIs (Request for Information), including cost estimates, technical presentations, project timelines and other queries from potential clients, ensuring all submissions are high quality and delivered within deadlines.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings and emerging technologies to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
- Liaise with the marketing team to undertake demand-generating activities such as trade shows or customer workshops.
- Train and mentor junior pre-sales staff, providing guidance on best practices, product knowledge, and effective sales techniques.
- Manage the creation and maintenance of a library of pre-sales materials, including case studies, product sheets, and demonstration scripts, ensuring all resources are current and accurately reflect the product offerings.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the pre-sales function and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills Required:
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
- A degree in Computer Science Engineering and Masters in Business Administration or equivalent from a premier institute.
- Solution-oriented analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to dead and manage a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to understanding and meeting client needs.
- Well-versed with Excel and CRM software
