Learning and Development (L&D) Manager
Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced and innovative Learning and Development (L&D) Manager to lead our training and development programs, tailored specifically for an AI-driven software development environment.
This role will be:
- Pivotal in building a continuous learning culture, upskilling our technical and non-technical teams, and ensuring alignment with industry advancements in AI, software development, and emerging technologies.
- This is an on-site role, based in our Gurgaon office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Learning Strategy & Planning: Design, develop, and implement a comprehensive L&D strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and the dynamic needs of the AI development industry.
- Program Development: Develop specialized training programs focused on AI, machine learning, software engineering, product management, and other critical technical areas, ensuring all employees are equipped with the latest skills and knowledge.
- Needs Analysis: Conduct regular assessments of training needs across departments to identify skill gaps and recommend suitable learning interventions.
- Content Creation & Curation: Create and curate high-quality training content, leveraging external courses, in-house workshops, and e-learning platforms tailored to AI and software development.
- Performance Evaluation: Establish KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and measure ROI on learning initiatives.
- Talent Development: Develop career pathing, mentorship, and development frameworks for employees to foster growth and retention.
- Vendor Management: Partner with external L&D vendors and institutions for specialized training, certifications, and workshops relevant to the AI and software development industry.
- Leadership Development: Build and manage leadership development programs aimed at upskilling managers and leaders within the company.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with department heads, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of learning initiatives with business objectives.
Candidate Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Education, or a related field; a master's degree or certification in L&D or Organizational Development is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with a preference for experience in tech-driven or software development companies.
- Technical Acumen: Understanding of AI, machine learning, and software development processes to ensure relevant program content.
- Program Management: Strong project management skills, with experience in managing multiple L&D projects and deadlines.
- Content Development: Proficiency in creating and delivering engaging learning materials using tools like LMS, e-learning software, and multimedia platforms.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to assess training effectiveness, analyze skill gaps, and measure ROI using data-driven methods.
- Communication & Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex topics in a clear and engaging manner.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to collaborate with various levels of management and employees to understand needs and tailor programs effectively.
