We at MarketsandMarkets are hiring for experienced Payroll professionals for India division preferably from Finance/ Accounting domain.

India Payroll :

- Payroll Processing on Ascent Payroll Software for 1000+ employees.

- Using checklists & generating reports to ensure correctness & completeness of processed payroll.

- Ensuring accurate & timely credit of monthly salary.

- Compiling documentation & required approvals.

- Publishing post payroll employee reports on ESS.

- Posting of Payroll Entries in Accounting Software & preparation of other month closing reports as required.

- Payroll related queries handling by directly interacting with the employees (right from the junior level employees to the Senior Management) - one on one, over telephone, through E-mails. Ensuring timely response to queries.

- Taking care of Statutory deductions like TDS, PF, ESI, PT, MLWF etc. & filing formalities for the same.

- Coordinating with the PF/ESI Consultant at various levels.

- Investment Proofs Collection, Checking, Processing & Issue of Form 16

- Quarterly ETDS processing & Return Filing.

- Maintaining & preparing data as per the Statutory & Other Audit requirements & independently resolving audit queries related to payroll.

- Maintaining records for payroll, statutory compliances etc.

- Ensuring that the necessary supporting documents are in place for payments made through payroll.

- Conducting Payroll Induction for new joiners

- Collaborating with HR and other departments to ensure alignment of payroll processes with organizational goals and objectives.

- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws, regulations, and tax rates to ensure compliance and implement necessary adjustments.

- Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information and sensitive employee data.

Required Attributes :

- Strong understanding of payroll principles, practices, regulations, and compliance requirements.

- Proficiency in payroll software systems and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll data.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve payroll-related issues efficiently.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
