DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President of Design specializing in User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) to lead our design team in creating exceptional digital experiences for our users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UI/UX design, with a passion for creating intuitive and visually stunning interfaces that delight users and drive engagement.

As Vice President of Design - UI/UX, you will be responsible for leading our UI/UX design strategy, managing a team of talented designers, and ensuring that our products deliver outstanding user experiences that align with our brand and business objectives.

- Lead the UI/UX design team, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's success.

- Develop and implement UI/UX design strategies that enhance the usability, accessibility, and overall user experience of our digital products.

- Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to understand user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints.

- Oversee the entire UI/UX design process, from user research and concept development to prototyping and final execution, ensuring that designs are user-centered and aligned with our brand identity.

- Conduct user research, usability testing, and other user feedback mechanisms to gather insights and validate design decisions.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UI/UX design, and integrate new tools and methodologies into our design process as appropriate.

- Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all digital touchpoints.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and innovation within the design team, and promote a user-centric mindset throughout the organization.

- Serve as a key advocate for UI/UX design within the organization, educating stakeholders on the value of good design and its impact on business success.

- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics related to user engagement, satisfaction, and conversion rates, and use data-driven insights to continuously optimize our designs.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.

- 10+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of successful digital projects.

- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite/Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, Invision or similar tools.

- Implementing visual disablement in designing digital interfaces.

- Passion for user-centered design and a relentless focus on creating exceptional user experiences.

- B2B SaaS Product Designing experience is strongly preferred.

- Proven track record of leadership and management in a UI/UX design role, with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving design excellence.

- Deep understanding of UI/UX design principles, methodologies, and best practices, with expertise in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

- Experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating closely with product management and engineering teams.

- Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines is a plus.

- Experience in a technology or digital-focused company is preferred.
