Marketing Project Manager - Job Description
Job Responsibilities
1. Project Planning and Execution: Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for marketing campaigns. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with objectives, goals, and target audience. Execute projects according to plan, tracking progress, and resolving issues or bottlenecks.
2. Team Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, creative, content, and digital teams, to define project
requirements, assign tasks, and manage project deliverables. Facilitate effective communication and ensure team members are aligned with project goals.
3. Campaign Management: Oversee end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, including digital marketing initiatives, advertising campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities. Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
4. Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources. Liaise with finance and procurement teams to secure necessary approvals and manage vendor relationships.
5. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies related to marketing projects. Develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure timely delivery.
6. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, such as senior management, product teams, sales teams, and external partners or agencies. Collaborate effectively to gather requirements, provide project updates, and obtain necessary approvals.
7. Performance Measurement: Establish project KPIs, track progress, and measure the success of marketing initiatives. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project performance, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
8. Marketing Strategy Alignment: Ensure marketing projects align with overall marketing strategies, brand guidelines, and organizational goals. Maintain consistency in messaging, branding, and customer experience across different projects.
9. Market and Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities. Conduct regular market analysis to identify innovative approaches and best practices to improve the retail store experience.
