- Analyses the organization's objectives, promotional policies, and needs to build public relations strategies that influence public opinion and promote the company's products, services, and brand identity
- Strong writing and content crafting skills to suit the various business requirements. Ability to critically review and draft media- ready content- press releases, product notes, speeches and other PR copy and communications (LinkedIn, website, branded collaterals)
- Understanding of influencer ecosystem and knowledge about social content creator community. Ability to identify and build engagement programmes for various business verticals
- Developing strong recommendations and plans and decks- for launches, always-on engagement - across media and influencers
- Strong understanding of consumer and media trends, especially in beauty/fashion/lifestyle and ability to reflect this knowledge in plans and content
- Understanding of ESG/CSR, especially in context of comms and ability to build programs, conduct relevant research and lead execution with partners
- Liaison lead for agency partners and be able to provide clear brief, develop tactical plans
- Scheduling and managing interviews for key personnel
- Serve as a first contact person for all media queries and build and maintain targeted media lists, and nurture relationships with key reporters
- Prepares and edits organizational materials, marketing materials, across properties and other publications for internal and external audiences
- Ability to review opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising and recommend based on fitment
- Track and analyse media coverage and follow industry trends to shape future communication plans
- Provide effective crisis management counsel and be able to implement the strategy
- Monitor and analyse effectiveness of PR campaigns and communicate insights to management
