We are seeking a talented, dynamic & self-directed Marketing Manager to develop and execute customer & seller facing multi-channel marketing and merchandising for a new strategic initiative. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting and groundbreaking new initiative at Amazon in the early stages of the Business.
The Marketing Manager will partner with internal teams across different geographies, as well as external agencies to execute multi-channel marketing & merchandising strategies. He/she will use a full toolkit of marketing vehicles, both owned and earned, to create compelling and memorable marketing campaigns, and drive ongoing engagement with sellers and customers. This could include email, partnerships, onsite experience, social media and mobile
The successful candidate will communicate effectively across teams and levels, while balancing the needs and requirements of internal and external customers. Flexibility and the ability to prioritize in a changing business environment will also be key. Our team culture is goal-oriented, collaborative and driven to achieve results. Roles and Responsibilities
- Influence the Marketing vision and strategy for the program
- Build out various Marketing programs for the Business and manage execution to achieve goals
- Manage specific Marketing channels like email, social, partnerships, etc
- Work with internal and external Marketing teams to develop and execute marketing creative
- Create and analyze performance metrics and make Business decisions about future direction based on performance
- Evangelize program initiatives internally and externally to build awareness and drive participation
- Partner with various Technical and Business teams
Basic Qualifications
- Deep understanding of and passion for e-commerce required
- Work experience of 3-5 years in online and offline Marketing, Brand Management or related field is preferred
- Excellent presentation, organization and Account Management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Proficiency in Powerpoint and Excel
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- Strong bias for action and ability to prioritize
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Strong team player, acts like an owner, and ultimately focused on delivering results with high standards.
- Demonstrated experience using marketing metrics to drive Business decisions
- Demonstrated experience owning multi-channel Marketing programs end-to-end
