Key responsibilities :
- To do a consumer research piece to find out what consumer wants and why would a consumer buy Modern product in fairly mature and cluttered categories.
- To do a complete understanding of the competition landscape to understand whats out there!
- To develop product briefs in line with the above two research outcomes
- Work along with the R&D team to develop disruptive products & packaging
- To look after all the 6Ps of marketing in developing a Modern way of marketing
- To design and deploy a marketing mix including ATL, BTL and all other forms of activation in GTM mix across India
- Accountable for business and market share objectives of her/his category
- Position of leadership: to lead a brand manager/Assistant brand manager in delivering all category objectives
Profile :
- Someone from FMCG, preferably bakery category with top MBA/good MBA institute candidate (between 2006 and 2010 pass out and someone who is currently a senior brand manager / marketing manager / group product manager (head) - essentially with portfolio/ category management marketing experience
Cultural Aspects : A self-starter, ability to work in ambiguity and chaos, entrepreneurial setup (personality archetype of someone who can work in a private equity funded company setup where there is tremendous self-drive, ambiguity and entrepreneurial style of functioning needed)
