Reporting into the Head for Brand Activation (ATL & BTL), the incumbent will be primarily responsible for building and defining the Chemists channel for a path-breaking initiative by partnering with Chemists across India.
More specifically, the candidate would be responsible for:
1. Patient engagement program: Developing and managing chemists channel to effectively engage them to act as a parallel counsellor for chronic respiratory diseases. The aim is to drive awareness, education, trial and loyalty programs with patients.
2. Strategy and Planning: Developing and executing the annual channel management plan including the following:
- Developing Joint Business Plans to drive Therapy Sales
- Developing, implementing and owning a range of chemist loyalty programs
- Developing plans to drive organisation and initiative equity
3. Control and Monitoring: Creating control and monitoring mechanism including patient relationship management (including database)
4. Communication: Collaborating with product teams, Doctors and patients to come up with channel specific communication
5. Managing External Agencies: Coordinating with external agencies to develop effective communications
6. Patient Counselling / Awareness: Driving patient counseling / awareness through chemists. Ensuring an increase in patient footfall to a doctor’s clinic through chemists
7. Chemist Relationship Management: Effectively building relationships with potential and existing KOLs (chemists) to optimize collaborations and ensure real-time information is available to all relevant stakeholders.
KEY DELIVERABLES:
- To help strengthen relationships with existing chemist partners and expand the channel
- To drive channel specific communication through the team and external agencies
- To review the ‘as-is’ model and design a matrix for monitoring and delivering ROI
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Ideally a candidate who brings about 10-12 years’ experience in customer marketing, branding, retail channel management, preferably related to pharmaceutical sector
- Prior experience with Chemist Channel is a must
- The candidate may come from FMCG and / or OTC sectors
- Strong collaboration skills, and experience in mobilizing cross-functional teams made up of internal and external constituents
- Creative thinker with proven marketing campaign experience
- Proven listening, negotiating and influencing skills
- Strong analytical skills with an proven ability to “learn new skills” and “think on the feet”
- Credible, confident and articulate, with good presentation skills
