Marketing - Hedge Fund
Monsoon Capital is a US based Alternative Asset Manager specializing in emerging markets, primarily Asia and India. Founded in April 2004, the firm has over 25 staff across the United States, India and Singapore. Monsoon Capital manages around $400 Million across 4 funds out of which 2 are quantitative hedge funds, one each in Asia and India. The quantitative research team is based out of ProAlpha Systematic Capital which is the Indian subsidiary of Monsoon Capital and ProAlpha runs the Indian hedge fund product locally for local HNIs, family offices and corporate treasuries.
ProAlpha is searching for a suitable candidate to drive the marketing of its local hedge fund product. Candidates meeting the following requirements can apply for this role to be based out of Mumbai:
- Minimum of 4 years sales/marketing experience with private banks, wealth management divisions of banks or brokers, wealth advisors, mutual funds or hedge funds
- Strong relationships with HNIs, family offices, corporate treasuries and book size of >50 crores
- Ability to convert a high percentage of existing book for the local hedge fund product which has a minimum ticket size of 1cr
- Capability to acquire new clients aggressively and have a high conversion rate for new clients
- Strong client servicing and knowledge of alternative products
- Some knowledge and understanding of different hedge fund products and at least basic knowledge of futures & options
- Ability to coordinate the marketing process via the various distributors (private banks, domestic brokers and wealth advisors)
