Marketing Head - Beauty and Personal Care
- Marketing Head will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies for the new cosmetic company. The successful candidate will be responsible for building the brand, increasing brand awareness, driving sales, and building customer loyalty.
- The role is based at Mumbai and Reporting to the CEO of the business. Marketing Head will work very closely with the CEO to create shareholder value by providing the vision, leadership, strategy, and general management skills necessary to grow the company into a dominant player in its industry.
Responsibilities :
- Create and manage a marketing budget to ensure the most effective use of resources.
- Develop and execute social media campaigns to build brand awareness and engagement.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to build brand awareness and drive sales.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as product development and sales, to ensure alignment of marketing efforts.
- Develop and implement an advertising and promotion strategy across various media channels.
- Will work closely with the top tier management team dedicated to developing and growing customer centric brands.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust as necessary.
- Create relationships with influencers, bloggers, and other media outlets to generate positive coverage.
- Develop and implement a customer loyalty program to increase customer retention.
- Enhance and if necessary, develop a brand positioning and messaging strategy that resonates with target customers.
- Work with relevant and the best in industry agencies, to drive results. Ensure to manage the relationship well and get the planned outcomes/impact measurement.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and preferences.
- Stay up to date with the latest marketing trends and technologies in the cosmetics industry.
- Clear understanding of the 4Ps- Product/ price/ place/ promotions.
Education Qualification & Experience
- MBA/PGDM From Premier B-Schools tier - 1 institute.
- Candidate should have an overall experience of 10-12 years. Mostly in the FMCG space with one stint of 2 years or more in Beauty & cosmetics
Specifications Required :
- Ability to build and execute a profitable customer acquisition and retention plan for the business.

- Ability to understand consumers in the D2C and Retail space. Leverage technology for the same.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
- Should have Beauty and Personal Care industry experience.
- Knowledge of the cosmetics industry, including trends, products, and competitors.
