STANDARDIZED JOB DESCRIPTION
A. Key purpose of the job
1) Implement and deploy marketing communication strategies to achieve top line and create positive brand image for the company and build customer relations.
2) Develop and implement the market communication plan for the Industrial Market.
B. Profile of the job holder
1) 6-8 years of excellent track record of driving the Marketing /Marketing Communication function in preferably Consumer Durables Industry, Auto Component Industry or similar field would preferred.
2) Engineering graduate or Non- Engineering Graduate preferably with an post graduate degree in Marketing Management. Very good understanding of integrated communications
3) Excellent Communication skills , written and oral. Presentation Skills.
4) Good analytical ability and clear understanding of marketing concepts
C. Key responsibilities
- Translate the business strategy into specific tactical communication strategy & plans and drive the implementation of the plans
- Develop strong cross-functional working relationships throughout and across the organization, Platform Managers, Industrial Segment Managers & Sales team
- Be able to conceptualize and communicate the essence of the business services offered
- Collaborate with corporate communication department and central communication team to develop active media relations, leveraging existing knowledge/resources/contracts where necessary
- Use events, communication tools and online platforms to foster a passion around the COMPANY brand both internally and externally
- Support in deployment of Customer Days, Develop MiniFair Concepts, Tech Days , Seminars and other such programs
- Support Country Communication Head and the BU Director to develop strategic Marcom plans and budget to support the BU communication plan and launch of new market offering, promotions and other business objectives
- Develop plan to manage and support business needs through developing relevant, usable and insightful sales tools that include but are not limited to: managing related information on website, sales collateral, presentations, speaking opportunities, tradeshows, etc
- Educate other sales & marketing team members and stakeholders and ensure communication compliance as per process Local & Global
- Responsible for project management activities, organizing agency briefings, securing business unit input to ensure accurate and effective communications in close coordination with central communication team
- Coordinate with peer communication teams ( global, local central resource ,corporate communication team and other BU Marcoms) to provide marcom support and synchronize/optimize business unit marcom plans with overall India communication plans
- Liaise with Corporate Communication Manager to daily manage of advertising and media outlets as well as internal communication which relevant to the business unit
- Develop ongoing recommendations and measurement plans for deliverables in accordance with annual strategy and plans. Measure defined KPIs for the Marketing Communication plan to measure effectiveness
- Provide timely reporting of performance metrics, analysis of results, and benchmark against established goals.
- Organize for market research / brand studies and facilitate customer satisfaction survey where applicable
