Market Risk Analyst - Bank

Top bank in ME is looking to add a Market Risk Officer that will assist senior members of the risk management team in assessing, reporting and mitigating risks in the banks portfolio and processes.

This person will be responsible for:

1. Establishing and maintaining appropriate risk limit framework.

2. Implementation of VaR for investment book

3. Designing Excel based tools for developing risk metrics and reports

4. Liasoning with regulator in fulfilling risk measurement/reporting tasks.

Prefer candidates who have:

1. Banking experience in market risk domain.

2. Education of quantitative background with good knowledge of statistics, Finance. CFA/FRM/PRM is plus

3. Advanced working knowledge of Excel/VBA/matlab and SQL

4. Candidate should display strong technological acumen and display strong verbal and written communication skills.
