Urgently looking for Market Development Specialist Diabetes with MNC into Medical Devices - Mumbai

Position Title: Market Development Specialist

Location: Mumbai

Reports To: Business Manager

Division: Diabetes

Main Purpose:

- Serves as division expert on South-Asia markets for Diabetes including identifying current and future market needs and understanding direct and indirect competition.

- Develops business plans, strategies, objectives and cross-functional tactics to maximize the short and long term potential of Diabetes business in South-Asia.

Key Accountabilities:

- Lead market development efforts to improve understanding of barriers and identify opportunities to grow

- Creating Strategies to leverage upon the opportunities to improve patient flow and development of new customers

- Identification of Training Needs of Customers and plan for Programs that will improve the skills for interventional cardiologists

- Segmentation of Market according to potential, experience and skills of Customer by interacting with customers and sales team

- Draft quarterly Communication Plan, discuss market development initiatives with team

- Strategizing the physician awareness activities to increase the therapy penetration in the potential markets

- Supporting the Sales team in Patient Awareness activities by identification of target areas with high potential

- Interact with multiple stakeholders like Field Force and Marketing team to create an alignment on the execution of plans

- Customize the initiatives according to requirement of regional areas after incorporating the feedback from Regional managers

- Ensuring that Current Sales team, new recruits and channel partner staff are well trained and certified on product knowledge

Experience and Knowledge:

- Exposure to Market Development in Pharma / Device industry

- If MBA from a premier Institute, work experience of 3 ~ 5 years

- Currently should be in a Market Development role

Qualifications:

- MBBS/MD

- PG degree in Business Management
