Market Analyst (Smartphones)
Role and responsibilities -
- Gather key data through primary research, secondary research and through information made available by agencies related to smartphones
- Organize, analyse and check the veracity of the data, and then prepare the requite trackers and reports
- Tracking competition (by features, price, channel etc.) in the relevant segments & analysing their products on technical specifications
- Conduct consumer research periodically to enhance consumer behaviour/preference understanding
Requirement -
- At least 2 - 5 years of work experience in managing research/analytics.
- Strong analytical ability coupled with lateral thinking to draw inferences from both structured and unstructured data sets.
- Extremely good command on MS office tools Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc
- Basic level of technical knowledge about smartphones/electronics is preferred
- Knowledge on data manipulation techniques - SQL/SAS/R/Python/any scripting language would be an added plus
Location: Bangalore, India
Travel requirements: ~10% of the time - primarily domestic travel
