Required candidate profile:

1) Someone already working as research/market analyst in Oil and Energy, Petrochemical, Polymer and bulk chemicals sector

2) Worked on market analysis and forecasting trends, providing strategic insights

3) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

4) Committed and reliable

5) Languages known Hindi, English and if possible local language too - not mandatory

6) Having stability of average two to three years

Responsibilities:

1. Interface with key stakeholders in Supply Chain and Business Units to gain insight into the strategic priorities of the organization and positively impact the spend portfolio through commercially relevant and timely market intelligence

2. Worked on market analysis and price forecasting trends, price index(ICIS, Argus, Platts, Brent/WTI etc) including tracking commodity prices, supply and demand fundamentals, producer cost models

3. Manage database and repository for market data, including commodity prices, supply and demand fundamentals, producer cost models, and all other relevant pieces of information.

4. Track key fundamentals in downstream derivative markets and upstream feedstock markets to understand both direct and indirect impact on Supply chain

5. Perform scenario-based analysis to help predict future market conditions and commodity prices based on a complex set of dynamic variables, and robust price forecasting models

6. Participate in individual Procurement and Business lead team meetings to deliver market intelligence assessments and commodity market updates on a regular basis

7. Be comfortable and confident to deliver market intelligence briefings to all levels of the organization, including executive leadership

8. Work closely in collaboration with internal strategy and planner to understand the key aluminum market fundamentals that will impact the supply chain

9. Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships

10. Develop alternative material and improve contribution margins by effective pricing

11. Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager or Procurement Officer

12. Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in "reading" the market

13. Talent in negotiations and networking

14. Good knowledge of supplier or third party management

15. Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers

16. Prepare and implement service level agreement with cross-functional teams
