JOB PURPOSE

- This position is responsible for Life cycle management activity from Process point of view once the New Product comes in regular production flow. Also responsible for supporting, improving and maintaining the production process of its assigned Production Unit.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

1. Act as a interface between R&D & Production for new product introduction & LCM activities

2. Handle independent projects by interacting with cross functional teams, proper budgeting, staffing, mitigation of risks etc

3. Responsible for Process Flow, process FMEA & Validation

4. Prepare the Work Instructions, Test Instructions & Device History Record

5. Conducting preparatory activities of the pilot / prototype production for NPI

6. Prepare and introduce product changes that arise from Life Cycle Management

7. Establish & Maintain Electro Static Discharge protection

8. Responsible for calibration/Qualification of tools/jigs/fixtures/equipment s

9. Select suppliers for Equipments , techno-commercial comparison for better technology cost savings& procurement

10. Responsible for Establishing & Controlling the Process cost for different products

11. Train production & service persons as a part of NPI activity

12. Play project lead role in product transfer from one location to another

13. Support productivity improvement via lean manufacturing techniques

14. Responsible for organizing, recording, maintaining and improving the material flows to and from its assigned units and the physical setting of the respective workplaces.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Master/Bachelor of Engineering in electrical/electronics or related discipline

- Preferably 5 to 8 years of experience

- Should have knowledge on New Product Introduction (NPI), Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Change Control Board (ECCB) , Process FMEA , Product Troubleshooting, Jigs/Fixture development & Budget Preparation

- Knowledge of SAP will be advantageous
