Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head of Quality in defining and executing strategic directions for the unity's quality function.
- Develop comprehensive strategies, policies, and design manuals to meet continuous improvement and growth needs.
- Ensure internal processes and metrics are aligned to achieve the highest quality standards and timely accreditations.
- Conduct periodic audits to validate the adequacy and effectiveness of key controls throughout the financial year.
- Collaborate with the IT team to digitize quality processes and enhance efficiency.
Quality Indicators:
- Develop and maintain Quality Manuals with standard operating procedures, periodically reviewing and updating them.
- Prepare standard SOPs for key areas in consultation with functional heads, incorporating necessary quality standards.
- Establish a measurement basis for quality in all key areas and track quality scores.
- Provide feedback to consultants based on identified quality indicators.
Quality Certifications:
- Identify and prioritize quality certifications in collaboration with the Head of Quality and management.
- Cultivate and maintain long-standing relationships with certifying agencies.
- Liaise with certifying agencies to stay informed about the latest developments and certification requirements.
- Coordinate with certifying agencies for assessments and oversee the implementation of certification programs.
- Ensure strict adherence to required quality standards and the acquisition of necessary certifications.
Quality Audit:
- Develop a comprehensive corporate audit program, including calendar, audit group formation, and templates.
- Ensure quarterly internal audits, identifying and rectifying deviations from internal quality standards.
Unit Quality Team:
- Provide ongoing support, mentoring, and guidance to Unit Quality team members.
- Lead the team in sharing necessary information for audits/certifications as required.
Team Management:
- Mentor, provide operational leadership, and offer technical guidance to the team.
- Evaluate team performance, provide periodic feedback, ensure adequate training and resources, and foster a motivating and conducive working environment.
- Implement succession planning for self and critical roles within the team.
