A. Key Purpose (Position Summary):
This position is responsible for designing and executing the Digital experience strategy for MedAce and managing the Enterprise applications of MaGE and its units (India and International). This position will enable MaGE to be prominent Tech Led Education service provider in all the markets that it operates in.
B. Key Accountabilities, Performance Areas:
1. MedAce App Development and Maintenance (Weightage 80%):
a. Develop and maintain a scalable Tech architecture for MedAce taking into consideration future demands and growth requirements.
b. Provide Technology and Engineering leadership and advise to the product team.
c. Conduct regular audits and testing of the system to foresee issues on application performance, load management, security issues and take proactive corrective action.
d. Define and monitor system performance dashboard for identified metrics and plan for action where metrics are not within acceptable thresholds.
2. Enterprise Applications (Weightage 20%):
a. Design and define integrated digital experience journeys of all key stakeholders (Learners, Faculty, Alumni, Industry, Regulators, Business Enabling functions)
b. Identify the Digital Pathways and relevant technology stacks to achieve transformations leading to better experience / competitive advantage.
c. Lead the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships. Work with global OEMs and Full-stack application partners in the domain to custom develop and implement the digital transformation strategy of MaGE.
d. Identify, compare, select, and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs
e. Maintaining a consumer-focused outlook and aiding in the delivery of IT projects to stakeholders.
f. Design and maintain IT infrastructure for MaGE and MedAce, including server, networks, storage, backup, AD, O365 etc. using intelligent cloud and onsite hosting approaches. Create overall technology standards and practices and ensure adherence. Oversee licencing compliance, data security, management, and governance. Ensure all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards globally.
g. Make infrastructure decisions, ensuring technical excellence, versatility, safety and scalability in the architecting and engineering of product solutions, as well as managing all technical delivery. Ensuring that technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs.
h. Facilitate the development and implementation of disaster recovery and IT security failure plans
i. Track market trends, consumer behaviour / competition movements and new product identification. Work closely with Marketing, Business Development and Operations to define and deliver new products and enhancements.
j. Manage Company and Business specific websites.
k. Manage Vendors ensuring optimal cost and best of services
C. Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
a. Study current Tech Landscape across all the Units of MaGE covering the following application stacks:
i. External
1. CRM
2. SLCM
3. LMS
4. Alumni portal
ii. Internal / Backoffice
1. FICO
2. MM
3. HCM
b. Identify Global OEMS and Technology that will meet the Tech requirements of the above domains (Microsoft / Oracle / SAP etc)
c. Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture
d. Licensing optimization and Vendor Management
e. Manage IT resource allocation, goal/KPI setting, and performance metrics.
f. Ensure tight collaboration across departments to drive strategic initiatives, including understanding of the alignment between technology strategy and various technology road maps.

G. Education and Experience
a. Necessary Qualification / Skill / Certification
i. Masters in Engineering (Computer Science or Information technology) from a reputed Indian / International University
ii. Sound knowledge / understanding of Application development, product management and IT infrastructure management
b. Necessary Experience and Exposure
i. Experience of 10 years in IT domain with good exposure to Client and User side requirements
ii. 5 - 7 years should be Consumer application design/ development /implementation.
