Brand Manager
Job Description:
An incredible opportunity for a passionate and driven brand marketing professional to join an early-stage Ed-Tech product team, backed by an Industry Leader in Education. We are looking for a competent, hands on professional, preferably from an Ed-Tech background, who can help us market a medical education product to the retail market.
Job Purpose:1. Be the Brand Custodian
- Manage Brand and Communication for the Brand across channels
- Develop Brand Strategy and Positioning
- Plan, Develop and Deploy Brand Campaigns to build awareness and intention
2. Drive organic growth through App downloads
3. Manage and grow organic brand presence on Social Media Channels
4. Drive and own events and activations, both online and offline
5. Own the PR and Content Marketing mandate
6. Manage Consumer Insights and Market Research for product lines
7. Support student enrolments through campaigns for performance marketing
8. Agency relationship management
Work Relations:
Critical Accountabilities:- Brand Strategy and Execution
- Develop Brand Strategy and Brand Launch Campaigns
- Oversee execution of the same from end to end with a metric driven approach.
- Drive Brand Awareness and App Downloads through always on brand activities
- Social Media Strategy and Execution
- Own and manage brand presence on Social Media channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) through calendarized and metric driven plans.
- Oversee PR and Content Mandate
- Responsible for building thought leadership in the Press by engaging with relevant publications and media houses
- Drive content marketing on Quora
- Own all marketing content on the App
- Manage Consumer Insights and Market Research
- Carry out consumer and market research as needed
- Support in creating assets (digital and offline), providing sales support to business and customer support teams to help drive acquisition.
- Manage agencies to generate content, advertising, and social media solutions to meet the brand requirements.
Qualification and Experience:- Post Graduate MBA/PGDM in Marketing from top tier b-school
- Experience 8-12 years of relevant experience
- Past experience in managing B2C products, executing end-to-end marketing programs
- Experience in creating marketing communication strategy
- Able to make sense of market and competitive trends to create annual plans
- Familiarity with digital marketing, social media and content marketing (needs to work with agencies and internal teams for execution)
- Experience in non-reporting relationships (preferably interfaces with senior leadership)
- Strong command over written English communication
