Key responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, including sales, customer service, and administrative functions

- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business targets and expand the customer base

- Manage and coach the branch team to drive performance and uphold high professional standards

- Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, company policies, and procedures

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, local communities, and insurance partners

- Analyze market trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members

- Resolve escalated customer issues and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner

- Monitor branch financials, budgets, and expenses to optimize profitability

- Collaborate with the regional management team to align on goals and initiatives

- Participate in recruiting, hiring, and training new staff members

- Organize and lead branch meetings to communicate updates, best practices, and targets

- Stay updated on industry changes, new products, and best practices through continuous learning

- Represent the agency at local events, networking opportunities, and industry conferences

- Drive a customer-centric culture and uphold the agency's reputation for excellence

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor/masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field

- 4+ years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on sales and management

- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

- Strong knowledge of insurance products, regulations, and market dynamics

- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused mindset

- Demonstrated experience in driving business growth and profitability

- Sound understanding of financial principles and budget management

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment

- Certification in insurance, such as CII or CISR, is a plus

- Proficient in using MS Office and other relevant software for business operations

- Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities within the local community

- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges

- Adherence to ethical standards and integrity in handling sensitive information

- Flexibility to travel, as required, for meetings, training, and events.
