Position Overview : As a Product Manager specializing in banking products and services, you'll be responsible for developing, enhancing, and managing products that serve the banking and financial services sector. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support, to deliver products that meet our customers' needs and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Development & Strategy:

- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for banking-related products and services.

- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify customer needs and industry trends.

- Work closely with stakeholders to align product goals with business objectives.

2. Feature Prioritization & Development:

- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.

- Prioritize features based on customer feedback, market needs, and strategic goals.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of product features on time and within budget.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Act as the main point of contact between internal teams and external stakeholders.

- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to develop go-to-market plans and product positioning.

- Build relationships with key clients and gather feedback to drive continuous product improvement.

4. Customer Experience & Feedback:

- Gather insights through user research, customer feedback, and data analysis to enhance product features and functionality.

- Monitor product performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

5. Compliance & Risk Management:

- Ensure product features and services comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security protocols.

- Stay updated on regulatory changes and incorporate necessary updates into the product roadmap.

6. Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for innovation and improvements within the product.

- Keep abreast of emerging technology trends in the banking sector and evaluate their application for product development.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.

- Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of banking products, digital payments, financial inclusion, KYC, CPV, and onboarding processes.

- Education: Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.

- Technical Skills: Familiarity with product management tools like JIRA, Asana, and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).

- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.

- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Customer Focus: Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving value for stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

- Knowledge of Indian banking regulations, compliance requirements, and financial inclusion.
