Senior Manager, Business Development & Sales
About the role :
As the Sr Manager, Business development and sales, you will be responsible for developing a strong pipeline of both borrowers and lenders on the platform, converting this in to new business and managing existing client accounts to realize their full potential. It is a very hands on job; requiring you to always ensure there are enough borrowers and lenders on the platform.You will lead the entire Go-to-Market and end-to-end sales process and will interact with CXOs of Large and SME businesses.
Responsibilities :
Responsible for the overall coordination, the functional management and leadership of all of the sales activities of the business.
Planning :
- Responsible for the establishment of both annual and monthly business objectives in coordination with the Company's business plan.
- Responsible for providing an annual Business Plan and providing quarterly updates, revisions and modifications to the Plan.
- Establish both market and target customer strategies for the company in coordination with the top management of the company.
Execution :
- Manage all of the field and in house sales functions of the Company.
- The position specifically is responsible for field sales, inside sales and telemarketing, and all customer support functions of the business
- Define and manage the monthly and annual sales objectives for all of the sales personnel
- Keep up to date with recent market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
Requirements :
- Marketing/Sales major from a reputed institution with 10-15 yrs of sales experience and an established customer base (Preference for people with startup experience)
- You will have a strong leadership style with the ability to manage and motivate a small team of people.
- You will be keen to develop your career in a fast moving company in which achievements of goals are both recognized and remunerated.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead by example with a - Hands on Approach-
