Client Details :

Our client is a listed MNC in the consumer technology product space and is an established market leader in their segment. They have development centres across the globe and employ more than 10,000 people globally. To strengthen their presence further they are currently looking for a dynamic professional to head the India operations in the role of MD. The role will be based out of their corporate office in Pune.

Description :

As the MD of the organization reporting to the Global Head and managing an employee strength of over 1000 people, you will be responsible for :

- Getting involved with Product development teams and supervise them completely with full accountability of project execution in terms of timelines and quality

- Enhancing Quality control of the developed products

- Leading the organizational development initiative to scale and manage size with help of structure, processes and synergy

- Driving initiatives across marketing and localising product portfolio to create awareness and affinity. Also developing good understanding of the consumer behavior and coming up with ideas around content creation and execution

- Fostering a customer first behavior across organization and being aware of competitor strategies

- Communicating effectively to HQ and ensuring smooth running of India operations

- Ensuring the implementation of adequate tools to allow for effective collaboration with the other centers working on the same projects and to optimize co-development in the long run

- Challenging the status quo by excellent product understanding and hiring/retaining best talent

- Establishing a strategy to negotiate subsidies and actively participating to securing them in collaboration with Corporate affairs team

Profile :

- Ideally you are a business leader from consumer tech product space with a bluechip MNC with a technical background.

- Since this role is heavily involved in production, a technology background will be highly preferred.

- You have an experience of 15+ years with atleast last 5 years in an executive role with complete responsibility for revenue and profitability.

- You are result oriented with excellent track record of success and have very good interpersonal and communication skills.

- You score high on leadership qualities and have excellent domain knowledge in technology space with high degree of agility.
