Workday HCM Manager

The Role:The Total Rewards Global Data and Tools Team is responsible for maintaining the tool used in the execution of compensation programs within It. This includes refining processes and enhancing the tools necessary to support the different Total Rewards groups. , i.e. Planning, Compensation Administration, Benefits, Equity, MI, etc.
Key Responsibilities:- The person will provide expertise in Workday HCM and Compensation modules and be responsible for planning, managing, and testing all the Compensation-related functionality within Client's Workday system.
- Be the subject matter Workday expert for Total Rewards (Compensation modules in Workday).
- Actively participate in bug and enhancement calls with the internal Dev Sec Ops team: ensure requirements are complete and accurately reflected, make innovative suggestions to the process, and ensure testing efforts are properly planned.
- Technical documentation creation including, but not limited to, requirements design, test scenarios, system and data flows, file specifications, integration design
- Testing and oversight of testing
- Project plan updates in PM software
- Stage gate participation in product cycles and project management gates Review
- User Acceptance Test Materials and recommend additions/edits; Help execute UAT
- Test Scripts; review defects after each UAT cycle and ensure resolutions are complete
- Work closely with global cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring system integrity and optimal performance
- Provide additional support for adhoc tasks including tasks that impact the particular Total Rewards phase across countries globally and for tasks that pertain to Total Rewards but move beyond the tool/administration (i.e. work with contacts regarding benefits/performance/etc. questions)
Skills Required:- Proven experience and expertise with Workday HCM and Compensation modules.
- Workday certification is highly desirable.
- Extensive hands on experience in designing configuring and implementing Workday
- In-depth knowledge of Workday business processes, HCM, Compensation, security, and integrations
Preferred Skills:- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
