SALES MANAGER - WHOLESALE CARRIER SALES
ORGANIZATION - Leading Telecom MNC
LOCATION - Gurgaon
EXPERIENCE - 5-12 Yrs
OBJECTIVE:
Wholesale voice, data/ International carriers in SAARC. Data - IPLC/ IP MPLS, L2VPN, L3VPN, etc; Voice - wholesale carrier to carrier voice. Preference is for people who have worked across multiple domains since the candidate will manage customers across product lines.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To manage and grow sales opportunities for wholesale voice, data and mobile data services in SAARC
- To act as an market expert for wholesale voice business and work on sales strategy implementation, capacity utilization and increasing market share for the region.
- To be the sales expert in developing specific products on data (such as OSS IPLC, IEPL, backhaul)
- Direct Sales responsibilities: SAARC countries + wholesalers based in India.
- To assist Sales Director to develop Country strategy and pipelines to achieve short-term, mid-term and long term targets attainment across SAARC region
- Ownership of the sales target for the accounts and formulation of the strategy to meet the revenue and margin targets for the assigned accounts for each of the product lines
- Accountable for the internal implementation of all the commercial agreements with the given carriers/countries. Responsible for dealing with capacity constraint issues, interface with support organizations, network performance monitoring, data tracking and analysis, as well as any required escalations.
- Activities include but not limited to customer sales hunting, follow ups and business development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
MBA preferred
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
5 - 10 years of working experiences and 2-3 years in the telecommunication /IT Industry.
Preferably in existing telecom operators with sales and / or pre-sales experiences.
