Manager - Warehouse/Logistics - Logistics Firm

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a member of the India Logistics Team, the Warehouse Manager will primarily be responsible for the handling of warehouse in most effective and efficient manner. The candidate should have experience in managing both B2B & B2C domain/3PL & Last Mile Delivery. Should have worked in local courier company who served e-commerce clients.

Reporting To: Warehouse Lead

Roles & responsibilities:

- Formulation, dissemination and implementation of logistics SOPs

- Defining and improving on key metrics of warehouse operations.

- Resourcing 3PL on warehousing and negotiating new contracts

- Resourcing 3PL for transportation of goods on PTL and FTL across PAN India

- Tie-up with new logistics partners for orders fulfilment reviewing and optimizing basing on cost and service

- Handling day to day Logistics operation activity and hands on B2B operations

- Leading team to ensure warehouse operation smoothly which includes stock audit efficiency at 100%.

- Man management experience a must with a minimum 3 years at similar position

- Driving on-the-ground implementation of any system or procedure for the warehouse.

- Budget control and cost monitoring of the function.

Qualifications:

- 10 to 15 years of experience in local courier company served e-commerce will be preferred.

- Knowledge of various geographical conditions In India.

- Familiar with logistic management business process, with hands-on logistic process management experience

- Highly organized, good communication skills, high energy and goal oriented, and can work independently and under pressure

- Proficiency in WMS and logistic information management system
