Roles and Responsibilities:
- Serving as the regional point of contact for tax engagements and assignments in the United States
- Participating actively in business development and client meetings
- Active participation in the recruiting of Team Members
- Technical Trainings
- Participating in team technical training- Participating in team technical training
- Reviewing client deliverables and project criteria
- Tracking deliverables
- Client and filing
- Make optimal use of resources on engagements and monitor their performance.
- Identify and discuss any Out-of-Scope work, Value Addition, etc. with managers.
- Comply with firm policies and initiatives, and ensure that your team does as well.
- Respond to the IRS Notices received by the client
Desired Profile:
- Qualified CA(Mandatory)
- 6-8 years of post-qualification experience working on US tax engagements
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal & Written)
Skill Set:
- Deeper understanding of accounting concepts & US Tax Principles.
- Able to analyze and manage the client and the team.
- Able to resolve tax queries of the team and the clients.
- Working knowledge on Form 1120, 5471, 5472, 926
- US Individual Tax (Form 1040), FBAR, FATCA, PFIC, etc.
- Partnership Filings (preferably Form 1065 or 8865), PE fund compliances
