Manage a team of 4-5 team members

Working Knowledge of SAP, Vertex O Series, and Vertex Returns software

- Guide the team, train and build competence on US Sales tax matters

- Correspond with Unit Credit Managers, business units for tax exemption information, taxability questions, etc.

- Gather information, compile work papers, prepare tax returns and affiliates as necessary for both US and Canada

- Maintenance of sales tax due date calendar

- Assist with sales tax notices and refund claims

- Assist with sales tax audit preparation

- Organize the reconciliation of sales tax accounts

- Manage the preparation of US sales and use tax returns and Canadian GST/PST returns, including:

Building supporting work papers

Utilization of VERTEX sales tax software
