Main Role (Overall accountability):
- To hand hold, guide and assist the team perform transactions processing related to AOF, Chq, and electronic clearing, direct Debit processing, Inward clearing, outward clearing and Foreign Currency transfers outside Oman, - Standing Order Instruction within the defined and concurred SLA's and TAT's with minimum error rate and deliver operations at a competitive cost level.
- Drive and implement projects and initiatives in order to increase competitiveness, enhance operational efficiency, improve customer service and reduce costs for the Bank.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Deliver Operations, Monitoring SLA's and Errors
- To Deliver Operations at a competitive cost level aligned to business performance, meeting the change agenda effectively and improving productivity to best in class.
- Error rates on transactions should be less than 1 percent of the total txns processed.
- To reduce the operational risk and enhance control environment and achieve compliance to internal and external control requirements within a defined framework.
- To promote customer engagement by ensuring all requests/complaints received on complaint management system is reverted to within the specified timelines.
- Enhancement of knowledge and skill sets for both self and team to imbibe new products and processes introduced by the Bank.
- Explore and implement latest trends and solutions in electronic payment locally and across the boarded
- Delivering transaction processing at agreed SLA's and endeavor to automate manual processing thereby gaining cost saves via enhanced productivity.
- Effective liaising with various front-end line departments to provide consistent and best in class support functions for client's processing requirements.
- Maintaining and updating the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), review and prepare User Manual, process note for new system automation or a change.
- Review of Functional Specifications, preparation of BRS and business scenarios simulation documents, training and support to users for any new system automation / change.
Change Management and Automation:-
- To figure, foresee and identify process improvement opportunities ideas and to officially log them for improvement in domain of control/ generic to the Bank.
- Represent all units and departments in such project teams to ensure that operational impact on various stakeholders internal and external is handled and managed smoothly.
Personnel Specifications:
- Minimum 15+ years of overall banking/financial service experience out of which 8 years in the role specified.
- Minimum Bachelor/MBA qualification
- Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to influence as well as developing strong and productive relationships with key senior management and colleagues in a complex matrix environment
- Excellent oral, written, presentation, communication, and inter-personal skill
