We are the team that manages the apps & skills catalogs across Amazon. If you are excited by technology and working in a fast paced challenging environment drives you, we would love to have you as part of the Amazon Appstore and Alexa Skills team in Bangalore. The team drives the entire ingestion and certification process for android apps & Alexa skills, which involves the entire lifecycle from the time a developer submits an app/skill to the time it is put up on the store, and ensuring the high quality experience for Fire tablets, Fire TV and Echo customers even after that.

The team is looking for Knowledge Management Strategist who will lead the Knowledge Management Processes at Amazon Appstore and Alexa Skills team, own content and logistics of New Hire launch plans, upskill and reskill training. As the Strategist, Content Operations, you will help build a knowledge base containing the policies, organizational structure, processes, and systems required to manage our store. You will play a key role in ensuring a continuous learning culture. Above all, you will ensure we protect Amazon's high-quality customer experience and provide an efficient and transparent experience for our team members, developers, and content providers.

Role Responsibilities:

As the Knowledge Management Strategist, you will :

- Define the strategy for training, Knowledge management, create and optimize processes for training content collation and up gradation.

- Collaborate effectively with Operations teams, trainers, subject matter experts (SMEs) and members of the Knowledge Management and Program teams to support new products, features, and services.

- Manage complex relationships with stakeholders in an environment with short deadlines and high business impact.

- Perform needs and task analysis, scope projects, and evaluate existing documentation to identify the most appropriate training approach and content to meet the learning needs and support the achievement of their performance-based objectives.

- Independently design and develop creative learner-centered, performance-based training programs, modules, and materials in multiple modalities including synchronous remote learning methodologies, blended classroom learning, interactive e-learning modules, videos, device learning labs, infographics, facilitator guides as well as auxiliary practice, review, and resource materials

- Leverage data to effectively evaluate behavioral and business impact of our training material.

- Collaborate with a global team of instructional designers, content creators, and training teams.

- Lead and coordinate the work of an Instructional Design project-program stream including the direct management of its members

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree required; with 8 + years of overall work experience In training, Content writing, Instructional design and Knowledge Management .

7+ years of proven team leadership experience, leading Training or support content teams within a large organization

Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field (Instructional Design, Information Architecture)

Experience with both Training and Support content in a large, global organization

Experience with a Global Operations team
