JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY
Responsible for designing training programs and monitoring implementation. Sets performance metrics, evaluates productivity, and helps workers create long-term career plans within an organization; any other tasks

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Develop and monitor training programs within the company
Develop training team members at various levels
Create manuals and training materials
Develop multimedia visual aids and presentations
Create testing and evaluations.
Prepare and implement training budget
Evaluate needs of the company and plan training programs accordingly
Manage training team
Provide performance feedback to trainers
Provide leadership development education
Provide logistical support, course development, delivery,evaluation, process measurements, and cost management
Plan the implementation and facilitation of activities and events, budget spending, material production and distribution,and other resources to ensure that operations are managed within authorized budgets
Assist with the development of strategic plans
Help with interviews of candidates as and when required to do so
Company induction
Tie up with external trainers and training bodies to identify and deliver specific training to employees
Maintain training records, oversee record keeping and documentation and ensure that proper reports are sent as and when required
Oversee and drive mystery audit activities and ensure gap management by unit heads
Training calendar, documentation & reports, co-ordination & tracking, tagging, assessments, phraseology, training materials, con call, travel & unit visits
Vendor selection and management Interviews
Training plan across levels
Individual Development Plans
To understand completely & conform to all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
To report for duty punctually wearing appropriate attire
To be fully conversant with the geographical layout of the operation and to know the exact whereabouts of all equipment of an operational nature
To maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
Follow clean-as-you-go policy and keep work area clean at all times.
Sign acceptance for tools, knives, uniforms etc. and pay back to the company for any loss or damage of said equipment.
To provide courteous, professional, attentive and efficient service at all times towards internal & external customers
To attend and contribute to all staff briefings and other related activities
To respond to any changes in the restaurant function as directed
Be willing and open to transfer across our formats as per work exigencies
Be open to cross functional training/movement at all times
To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Be fully conversant with our Quality checks and processes,
Health & safety policy, Food hygiene and safety, and Fire safety procedures
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Experience of planning and delivering training. Knowledge in the best practice of Training - An understanding of HR policies and procedures, Experience of carrying out grievance and disciplinary investigations. Ability to coach and advise managers and staff in training and development.
- Thorough knowledge of the restaurant space and its products and procedures of front and back end operations
- Perfect written and verbal communication in English and ability to speak in the vernacular
- Excellent MS Office skills, especially in MS Word and PowerPoint. Ability to work under pressure.
QUALIFICATION STANDARD :
Education: Graduate.PG degree or Diploma in related field desirable.
Experience: 8 to 10 years of direct training and coordination experience
Salary Offered: 10 - 12 LPA
