Manager - Trading

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and deliver sourcing and sales plan of Metallics (Sponge Iron / Pig Iron/ HBI)

- Generate business and manage order book to ensure sustainable volumes. Ensure achievement of margin targets for the business

- Study market potential, make & review product/market-wise trading plan for the respective products. Provide market intelligence

- Ensure execution of order as per contracted terms

- Establish relationship with steel and foundry customers and vendors on a sustainable basis

- Manage contracting and oversee trade documentation to ensure ensure zero error in transactions

Desired Profile:

- Relevant experience in Pig Iron container business

- Track record in Business

Sound basic technical & trading knowledge of various Steel making Raw Materials

Good understanding of INCO TERMS 2010, UCP 600, contract exposure, marine freight ( container and/ or bulk), etc

Developed new and maintained relationships with suppliers and buyers of Steel making Raw Materials in respective geography.

- able to translate strategies into practical action and deliver results ;

- independent thinker to support growth aspirations of the Division/ BU/ Co.

- Direct experience in Supply Chain and Logistics

- Team Player - Ability to operate effectively in a team environment (across time zone, work locations etc.)

Educational Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelors (B.Sc/ B.Com/ B. Tech) Degree; Additionally, MBA would be preferred

Relevant years of Experience: - 2.5+ years of relevant experience in container business

Industry Preference: International Trading of Steel making Raw Materials/commodities (Pig Iron, Sponge, Scrap, HBI, iron ore, etc)
