Job Description :


To LEAD the Planning and Delivery of sales volumes across channels / geographies and work towards increasing Market Share and Distribution of the Brand Portfolio across categories. The position leads the IBP process for the portfolio of brands in sales by owning the trade / field activity grid, channel development programs while driving commercial excellence.

Job Function : Sales

Principal Accountability :

 
Brand Strategy & Business Planning - 30% :

- Create and Own the Brand-wise / State wise / Seed-wise Volume Plans along with Consumer Marketing Team for areas of responsibility

- Create AOP for Brands in coordination with Marketing and Pricing Teams at State / ASM Level

- IBP Owners for Categories (National Level) and Geos (Region Level) [Sales & Marketing Activity Grid (SMAG) and Demand Review]

- Deep Dive into Nielsen Analytics to track progress, uncover opportunities, identify issues to drive brand / channel volumes

- Partner with Region on KEY STRATEGIC Projects to Drive Growth for Key Geo / Category combinations for

- Influence Field Sales Leadership to align to Brand / Channel Strategy

Channel Strategy & Activation - 20% :

- Devise 24 month Channel Strategy to develop Channels of responsibility in coordination with Sales Leadership

- Design and Manage WS Loyalty Program | ISS Retail Program.

Execution Excellence - 20% :

- Be the Driving force behind On the ground / Store activation / BTL Activities / New Launches / Innovations

- Ensure Optimal Pricing as per established benchmarks in close coordination with Pricing to deliver Weekly Integrated business planning (IBP) Estimates while delivering Contribution Margin Goals

- Effectively design and communicate Trade Activation to Field Leadership (ZSM/BM/ASMs)

Commercial Excellence - 10%

- Responsible to ensure ROI of various activation in the BTL Activation space

- Manage Trade Marketing Budgets and maintain high degree of commercial discipline

People Leadership - 10%

- Nurture and Develop Talent within own and extended team

- Mentor Young Leaders within the organization and help them grow

Education & Experience

- MBA/ Graduate.

- 2 - 3 Yrs of Field Leadership (ASM - GT / MT) + 1 to 2 years of Regional / National Trade Marketing Experience at leading FMCG Organisations

- GT+MT/ECOM Experience desired

- Analytical Decision Making

- Cross Functional Collaboration and Networking

- Influencing without Power

- Strong Communication Skills (Oral and Written)
