Trade Marketing Manager
Job Purpose:
The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for managing Modern Trade Key Accounts sales and overseeing all promotional and sales support activities within the region.
This role aims to drive growth, enhance visibility, and support the overall sales strategy in the designated area.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Growth and Visibility:
- Drive growth and improve visibility in the star outlets channel.
- Be accountable for achieving top-line (revenue) and bottom-line (profitability) targets for this channel.
Sales Development Activities:
- Design and implement local sales promotion activities to boost market presence and drive sales.
- Manage IT initiatives and ensure compliance with sales functions and processes.
- Develop and execute distribution expansion strategies to increase market reach.
Promotional and Trade Marketing Activities:
- Oversee and manage all promotional and trade marketing activities within the region.
- Coordinate with external agencies and partners as needed for promotional campaigns.
Cross-Functional Liaison:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the marketing team at the business office and the sales teams in the region.
- Ensure alignment and communication between the marketing and sales functions to achieve business objectives.
Team Management and Support:
- Leverage and support a team of trained Field Executives to execute initiatives and drive results across the region.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in trade marketing or sales management, particularly in modern trade channels.
- Strong understanding of sales promotion and trade marketing strategies.
- Experience with IT systems and sales compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective liaison with various teams.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve targets.
