Manager (Trade Finance)
- Responsible for structuring and executing financing decisions for various ongoing and future expansion plans of the Company. The team is focused on strengthening and management of financial affairs, managing liquidity with minimal debt increase, optimizing the capital structure, reducing finance costs through trade finance products and by diversifying sources of financing on a continuous basis.
- To assess trade finance related requirements and lead discussions with banks for financing of such requirements. The person will be executing Trade finance arrangements with banks and financial institutions and implement internal systems to set standard process for the function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support business objectives in Trade Finance area through adherence to all internal external procedures customer service orientation.
- Good Understanding of trade products Import/Export Trade Loans and Credit facilities
- Experience of handling ECB/ODI/Trade Credit and ensure compliance with reporting.
- Responsible for ensuring adherence to laid down Compliance and Regulatory guidelines
- Ownership of trade finance operations transactions for the unit as a Team Leader
- To handle the daily trade finance operations of a unit as a team leader, in a decentralized environment.
- Responsible for regulatory and compliance functions for the Trade Finance Unit, involving close coordination with Internal and External Auditors, Banka Compliance unit, RBI and other external agencies.
- Capable of handling various internal external audits independently, and keeping the unit audit-ready at all points of time
- Process Trade Export Bills to be sent to banks for negotiation
- Follow up on Trade Export Bills discrepancies, acceptance and payment
- Process accounting data entries into accounting system
- Follow up on Trade Import Bills applications, amendments and settlement
- Process accounting data entries into accounting system
Qualification And Experience:
1. CA or CWA with Minimum 3+ years of Experience in Treasury Banking Finance with a Large Industrial Conglomerate having turnover Rs. 5000 Crores plus.
2. Monitoring and managing the organisation's bank relationships and liquidity management
3. Managing foreign currency exposure and foreign currency payments
4. Analysing various scenarios and risks and reporting to senior management
5. Forecasting of medium and long- term funding and hedging requirements (if applicable)
6. Daily cash management
7. Debt facilities management
8. Interest rate risk management and development of risk mitigation strategies
9. Foreign exchange risk management and development of foreign exchange risk mitigation strategies
10. Team management
11. Preparing management and board reports
12. Liaising with senior management across the organisation
13. Supporting the month end process where necessary
