Manager/Team Leader - Taxation

Job Title: Manager/Team Leader – Taxation

Location: Bangalore

Job Responsibilities:

1. Tax deduction at source

A) Ensure the right tax is deducted at source

B) Train executives to follow correct taxation rates

C) Timely deposit of TDS

D) Monthly reconciliation of the TDS deposited and TDS as per books

E) 100% Process & Tax Compliances

2. Service Tax compliance

a) Input service tax credit under CENVAT rules & distribution to plant

b) GTA freight service tax all India level coordination with zones

c) Payment of service tax including as service recipient under reverse charge mechanism

d) Responsible for timely payment of all taxes at an all India level

3. Tax returns and certificates

A) Ensure online filing of returns quarterly on time

B) Tax Account as per books reconciliation with the return filed

C) Timely issuing of TDS certificates

4. Annual Tax audit

Job Specification:

- M.Com/ CA Inter / CA / ICWA

- 3 to 5 years post qualification experience / 2-3 Years PQE if CA/ICWA

- Preferred experience in handling Taxation in Manufacturing Industry

- Preferred exposure to factory accounting

- Should be proficient in excel & ERP
