Service line Business Risk - Third Party Risk Management
Job level: Manager
Specific skill set required: Microsoft Excel, SQL, VBA
Professional qualification : MBA (Finance) or CA preferred
Work experience: 9- 13 years of relevant experience
The key job responsibilities include the following:
- Set and manage expectations with the global member firms
- Interact and liaise with TPRM team members globally
- Recruit, train, and motivate new and existing TPRM team members
- Guide and educate team members in case of technical issues
- Resolve issues and concerns of global teams
- Grow the TPRM practice in terms of hours managed from U.S. India
The key skills required are as follows:
Good communication and interpersonal skills:
- Ability to successfully speak with the global teams on a regular basis to resolve issues, set expectations, and build relationships
- Ability to speak confidently with the global leaders and update them on the progress
- May need to travel and spread the gospel of U.S. India TPRM capabilities and win work
Good management/leadership skills:
- Prior experience of managing and leading teams - should be comfortable with managing a team of 30+ individuals
- Prior experience of successfully working with global teams - should be able to set delivery timelines and push back when reasonable
- Exceptional focus on quality - should maintain a clear focus on quality of all deliverables and take ownership
- Prior experience of training and knowledge sharing - will be responsible for training team members and reaching out to global teams for sharing knowledge and maintaining a repository
Technical skills:
- Good Excel skills - pivot tables, formulas, charts, running macros, and preferable VBA skills for writing macros too
- SQL and Access skills (preferable but not mandatory) - some TPRM projects use SQL and Access, but this is not mandatory
Other details:
Work timing 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (expected to stretch during peak periods)
